SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Head coach Chris Gerlufsen and the University of San Francisco men's basketball program announced the return of Vinnie McGhee as assistant coach on Wednesday afternoon.
"I am thrilled to welcome Bay Area native Vinnie McGhee back onto our coaching staff for the 2025-26 season," said Gerlufsen. "Coach McGhee is a favorite amongst our players and staff, and his return elevates our entire program. He is elite with player development and has a keen understanding of what we do. I know Vinnie is anxious and excited to share his experience at the NBA level over the past two seasons with our team.
