SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- As the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaches, the 2022-23 college basketball season begins to heat up with the first tournaments of the season are set to begin this week. The USF Dons women's basketball team (2-2) now looks ahead to a three game week beginning with a Monday morning tip-off against the Penn Quakers before hosting the USF Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday as they will welcome Tulsa, Long Beach State and South Carolina State to the Hilltop.
USF has received mixed results through their first four games of the season, as the Dons have been able to defeat Cal State East Bay and preseason favorite in the Sun Belt Troy, before falling short against the Pac-12's Washington State and USC.
