Timely Hitting, Solid Pitching Lead Dons to Road Win over UC Davis

DAVIS, Calif. -- Playing in their first road game of the 2022 season, the USF Dons baseball team (2-2) took care of business Tuesday afternoon on a cold and wet day by defeating the UC Davis Aggies (0-4) 6-2 at Phil Swimley Field at Dobbins Stadium.

USF used a two-run top of the first and and a four-run fourth inning to take control of the game early on and wouldn't relinquish the lead thanks to tremendous work from the pitching staff with seven arms combining to get through nine innings of work.
