Solid Bench Performance Leads Dons Over Otters

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Highlighted by a season-high 65 points off the bench, the University of San Francisco women's basketball team (5-2) earned an impressive 92-52 victory over CSU Monterey Bay (2-1) Sunday afternoon at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

Four players scored in double figures for San Francisco, led by Meghan McIntyre, who had 16 points and seven assists. Candy Edokpaigbe added 14 points while Sol Castro chipped in with 13 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks off the bench.

For the second straight game, Castro led the team in rebounds with seven as the Dons won the rebounding battle, outrebounding the Otters 43-23.
