MSOC | USF Edged 1-0 Against No.5-Stanford

Box Score THE RUNDOWN

STANFORD, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's soccer team tightened up its defense by allowing just one goal but that was the difference getting edged out, 1-0, to No.5-Stanford (5-1-0) at Cagan Stadium on Friday night.

The Dons (1-6-0) allowed a season-low one goal, which came in the 11th minute when Cardinal Drew Skundrich chipped in the ball past Dons goalkeeper Ruben Stuiver.

USF had three chances to tie the game, but could not cash in on their chances. On the first opportunity, Bryce Kaminski's header inside the six went wide.
