CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – After the opening round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge at the Cedar Rapids Country Club, the University of San Francisco men's golf team is currently tied for fifth, three over par with a total score of 291.
Leading the Dons on the day is freshman Toby Briggs who is tied for 13th overall after an opening round score of one under par. Briggs was two-under on the front nine and finished the afternoon with a 71.
Senior Henry Chung is the only other Don in the top-25 on the leader board, he finished his opening round with an even par 72, which is currently tied for 21st.
