MGOLF | Dons Move Up to Third Following Strong Second Day

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – After posting the lowest team score of the round, the University of San Francisco men's golf team moved itself up two spots to third, following a red-hot day on the links. The Dons finished 7-under for the afternoon to finish with a team score of 281, giving USF a score of 572 through two days.

Three members of the team finished under par, with a fourth Don shooting even par. Sophomore Tim Widing paced USF, with a 5-under, 67 on the second day. Widing tallied six birdies on the day, the lone blemish to his scorecard was a bogey on the par-3 eighth.
