Men's Basketball Adds Volodymyr Markovetskyy

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's basketball program officially announced the signing of former Washington State forward Volodymyr Markovetskyy on Monday afternoon.

Following two years in Pullman, the 7'2 center will bring a strong presence down low to The Hilltop after appearing in 45 games during his time with the Cougars.

"I am delighted to add Vova to our program," said head men's basketball coach Todd Golden. "He has exceptional size and physicality, along with two years of Pac-12 playing experience. He is a great rim and paint protector and will make it hard for our opponents to score inside.
