SAN FRANCISCO – Vinnie McGhee who served as an assistant coach at Northern Colorado since 2016 has been named an assistant coach at the University of San Francisco, head coach Todd Golden announced on Monday.
"Vinnie and I have known each other for a long time, dating back to my playing days at Saint Mary's," said first year head coach Todd Golden. "He brings great energy every time he walks into the room. He has the ability to relate to the players while also commanding and receiving their respect. I look forward to watching him work with our guards on a daily basis, as well as delivering a strong recruiting presence here in our backyard.
