SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced on Tuesday morning that Malik Thomas has been named the WCC Player of the Week for men's basketball.
Finding his groove over the last few weeks, Malik Thomas came up in a big way for the Dons this week as he helped guide USF to two dominant wins over Northern Arizona and Fresno State.
On Wednesday, Dec. 20, the Southern California transfer finished with a then career-high 19 points in 24 minutes on 7-of-10 from the floor in a 91-51 victory over Northern Arizona.
