SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) men's soccer team (1-0) looked strong on both sides of the ball on Thursday night as USF picked up its first win and shutout of the new season with a 1-0 victory over UC Davis (0-1) at Negoesco Stadium.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Defense was the theme early as the Dons did not record their first shot of the evening until 18:22 when David Raphael fired a strike on target, but was ultimately denied by opposing goalkeeper Noah Schwengeler.
- Both sides continued to attack the other, but neither could find the back of the net through the opening 45 minutes of play.
