SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – After living a long and fruitful life, Josephine Giarratano, the mother of University of San Francisco head baseball coach Nino Giarratano, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
"Momma G embodied greatness as a wife, mother and friend," said Nino. "If you had the pleasure to walk alongside her path, she touched your heart, mind and soul. She will forever watch over us in this life. Rest in peace Momma G, we love you and will see you again!"
