INDIANAPOLIS – Four teams from the University of San Francisco athletics department received Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) Public Recognition Awards as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday.
"This is tremendous news," said Director of Athletics Joan McDermott. "We pride ourselves on our principles of the Four Pillars of Success, which first and foremost is to excel in the classroom. Seeing USF represented on this list is a testament to the hard work and dedication our student-athletes put into the classroom while also competing at the highest level, engaging in the community, and becoming leaders in the world.
