SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the first time this season and second time in his brilliant career, University of San Francisco senior guard Frankie Ferrari was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week following a strong week in which the Dons went 2-0 in WCC play to improve to 16-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
Ferrari, the Burlingame, Calif. native, continues to be the catalyst in the Dons' stellar season. While battling the flu, he helped guide the Dons to a pair of conference wins as USF climbed back into second place in the WCC standings and jumped 10 spots in the NET rankings to No.
