SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Capping off an incredible first collegiate season on the Hilltop, Eddison Esquivel has been named Rawlings West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week for the third time, announced by the league Monday afternoon.
Leading San Francisco to five straight wins to end the regular season, including a series sweep of Utah Valley, Esquivel accumulated a .636 batting average, a 1.273 slugging percentage, one double, two home runs, four RBI, and four runs scored.
Beginning the series with a three-for-four performance on Wednesday, May 14, Esquivel recorded two RBI and scored twice.
