SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second time this season and in back-to-back weeks, Candy Edokpaigbe has been named West Coast Conference Player of the Week, announced by the league Monday morning.
Edokpaigbe led San Francisco in scoring in two wins last week over Lehigh and CSU Monterey Bay, averaging 19.5 points per game on an impressive 73.9 percent shooting.
Registering her fourth 20+ scoring performance of the season in the win over Lehigh on Tuesday, Nov. 25, Edokpaigbe scored a team-best 25 points and knocked down a career-high 11 field goals in 38 minutes of action.
