SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (20-28, 7-14 WCC) dropped the series finale to San Diego (20-26, 14-4 WCC) in a 9-8 decision on Sunday afternoon at Fowler Park.

- San Diego struck first in the bottom of the second, jumping out to a 3-0 lead, highlighted by Aden Howard's two-run RBI triple.
- San Francisco answered in the top of the third after TJ Rogers reached base and came around to score on an Eddie Esquivel RBI single to right center, cutting the deficit to 3-1.
