Dons Knock Off Roadrunners for Second Consecutive Win

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) men's soccer team (3-1) picked up its second consecutive win on Monday night as the Dons knocked off CSU Bakersfield (0-4), 1-0, at Negoesco Stadium.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

  • San Francisco broke the 0-0 tie when David Raphael notched his second goal of the season at 9:00, converting off a penalty kick for the second time in three matches. In the first half, the Dons would go on to outshoot the Roadrunners 7-1.
  • CSU Bakersfield sustained a more balanced attacked in the second half, but the Dons still doubled up their visitors in the shot column, 10-5.
