The Gaels quickly went ahead in the doubles matches, with Clementine Clement and Emma Critser beating Genevieve McCloskey and Hanna Börjeson 6-1 on the No. 2 court. Behind the strong No. 1 team of Andrea Ka and Thyra Taune, USF was able to even things up with a 6-2 win against Jana McCord and Jamie Pawid.
