SAN FRANCISCO – Director of Athletics Joan McDermott is pleased to announce that the construction for the Sobrato Club in War Memorial Gymnasium at the Sobrato Center has officially commenced. The completion date for the Sobrato Club is slated for Summer of 2020. "USF Athletics is so thankful to John and Susan Sobrato for their generous and historic gift of $15 million to us and making this particular project possible," McDermott remarked.
McDermott is also pleased to announce that War Memorial Gym will house four new video boards, to be installed by August of this year.
