SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Three appearances, a win, a save and three USF victories earned University of San Francisco junior right-handed pitcher Alex Pham West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of March 2-8 on Monday.
Pham made three appearances during the week, closing down three San Francisco victories while going 1-0 with a save and just one run allowed all week.
He threw four innings of relief on the road at California on Friday, earning a save and helping the Dons secure a 4-1 series-opening victory. He struck out four and didn't walk any while only giving up two hits in that outing.
