A pair of white gloves have figured in episodes both happy and disappointing for Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph. The final twist to the tale will have to wait until Saturday’s game against the 49ers.
Rudolph was wearing the gloves when he caught the winning pass in overtime Sunday against New Orleans. In the giddy aftermath in the locker room, he happily donated them — signed, even — to what he thought was a charity effort.

“It’s disappointing,” Rudolph tweeted. “A member of the media in the locker room after the game asked if he could have my gloves for a charity benefit, so I said of course and I will even sign them for you!
