When the San Francisco 49ers drafted SS Jaquiski Tartt in the second-round (No. 46) of the 2015 NFL Draft, many Forever Faithful were scratching their heads. A small school kid from Samford who was projected to go in the third or fourth-round, it was the 49ers who took a gamble on him early on. Now the question remains, how will he fit into the safety rotation?
The team is already set on the backend with FS Eric Reid and SS Antoine Bethea so where does that leave Tartt? I believe special teams is his best bet in 2015.
