Why 49ers Nick Bosa will struggle in 2019 training camp

It would be extremely difficult to find someone who could deny San Francisco 49ers EDGE Nick Bosa’s talent or potential. Most draft analysts agreed Bosa was the most NFL-ready player selected this spring.

So, shouldn’t we expect the second overall pick to ball out in training camp and disrupt opposing offenses all preseason?

Well, not so fast.

He simply hasn’t been able to stay on the field enough. Last season at Ohio State, Bosa was only able to play in three games before injuring a bilateral core muscle. He was also only able to make it through two days of OTAs before shutting it down with a hamstring injury.
