Because the San Francisco 49ers suffered a ton of injuries in 2018, they were forced to play a ton of players that weren’t ready. So when I ask who the most improved player on the team will be in 2019, there are plenty of options. Jimmy Garoppolo is an option. Shoot, Richard Sherman can even be an option if he truly only played at 80% last year. That’s not the options we’ll talk about today, though.
Warner has already gotten better this offseason by changing his number. When watching him, one thing that really stood out to me was Warner’s ability to recognize what the offense was doing, process, and finish.
