Kenneth Acker has played a decent amount over the past few years and is fighting for more playing time as he enters his third year in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers are in desperate need of help at cornerback, so Acker definitely has a chance to shine much brighter than expected this fall.
The Southern Methodist product joined the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL draft. Acker played in 15 games last season, starting 13 of them and recording three interceptions. He will likely not be a starter for the 49ers in the 2016 season, but he will be an asset nonetheless.
