The San Francisco 49ers lost a heart-breaker on Monday Night Football to close out Week 6. They dropped a 33-30 decision to the Green Bay Packers thanks to a last second field goal that capped a 10-play, 81 yard drive in which it took barely over a minute for Aaron Rodgers to reach into their chests and firmly rip out the team’s heart.
The 49ers dropped to 1-5 with the loss, and now sit tied with four other teams for the worst record in the league. For the fans of the “elegant tank,” it certainly was about as ideal a loss as one might imagine.
