It could not have been much fun for the 49ers Sunday, all the coaches and players standing on the sideline in a total downpour.
Very little went according to plan for either offense, creating some ugly football in incredibly sloppy conditions. But after about three hours, the Niners came out with a 9-0 win.
To celebrate, the heroes of the game — the 49ers defense — took advantage of the rain-drenched turf of FedEx field, throwing it back to with a middle school-style slip-and-slide.
