SANTA CLARA – Wide receiver Victor Bolden returned to the 49ers this week after serving a four-game suspension, and he immediately began preparing as if he might be needed Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
“I’m definitely happy to be back here,” Bolden said on Wednesday. “It was a tough four weeks, it felt like forever. But I’m excited to be back out there to practice and play with my guys.”
The 49ers have until Monday at 1 p.m., when his roster exemption expires, to make a decision whether to activate Bolden to the 53-man roster or waive him.
