Vernon Davis appears to be a new man this offseason. A season ago he was avoiding any and all team activities as he sought out a new contract — which, of course, he did not deserve and did not get.
This year Vernon Davis is fully attentive and active, not to mention excited at the prospects for the upcoming season. While fans and pundits are rightfully worried after losing Patrick Willis, Chris Borland, Frank Gore, and likely Justin Smith – who still has not announced his intentions for next year.
So why is Vernon Davis participated now that the 49ers look to be worse, on paper?
