Remember running back Jeff Wilson Jr., the overlooked (but always appreciated) bullnosed tailback who helped carry the injury-plagued San Francisco 49ers offense for much of 2020 and seemed to have sporadic major impacts when called upon?
Well, Wilson found his way off to the Miami Dolphins in 2022 in the wake of the Niners' blockbuster trade for All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey, which made sense for the former in light of what would have been a diminished role.
But, in light of San Francisco's subsequent roster moves entering 2025, including at running back, there's the chance Wilson winds up finding his way back to the Bay Area.
