Three more 49ers will be placed on IR; three others out for Sunday

Kyle Shanahan came to his Monday news conference with a sheet of paper he knew he’d need when he was asked about his team’s latest wave of injuries.

“It’s long,” Shanahan said. “I can’t remember it all. So I wrote it down here.”

Shanahan spoke a day after five players failed to finish a 20-10 loss to the Cardinals and he revealed at least four of those players wouldn’t be available when the 49ers (0-9) meet the Giants (1-7) on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.

Safety Jaquiski Tartt (broken forearm) and tight end Cole Hikunti (knee), will be placed on season-ending injured reserve, and wide receiver Trent Taylor (broken rib) and linebacker Elijah Lee (knee) will miss at least one game.
