The NFL’s near-spontaneous and private workout for Colin Kaepernick in Atlanta has already become farcical — perhaps even a set-up.
Kaepernick has been out the league for three seasons, but the NFL apparently decided this week — without a clear impetus — that they needed to hold a league-sanctioned workout for him. So it’s this Saturday.

Of course, as if this wasn’t already strange and difficult enough, the NFL won’t announce which teams will have representatives in attendance and top scouts will likely have to re-arrange travel plans to see Kaepernick in person (we’ll see how that goes).
