The 49ers won’t face Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith for the second time this season. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport tweeted that Smith will miss today’s game due to a groin injury that limited him throughout the week.

The drop-off from Smith, who has his limitations but has proven to be a starting caliber quarterback in this league, to Drew Lock is substantial.
