Source: Kelly brings offensive mind to 49ers in special role

Chip Kelly's staff in San Francisco expanded on Wednesday, as the 49ers new head coach made another hire.

Dana Bible was brought in to an undetermined position, a source confirmed to 49ers insider Matt Maiocco.

Bible has a combined 36 years of coaching experience, both in the college and pro ranks, working exclusively on offense.

His last gig was with NC State in 2012 where he specialized in working with the wide receivers and quarterbacks. Bible was the team's offensive coordinator before taking over as an interim head coach in 2012.
