Brutal. Discouraging. Sad. Those are a few words to describe the 49ers' never-ending injury situation. First, it was running back Jeff Wilson, who will miss at least the first six games. Now, the 49ers have lost swing tackle Justin Skule, who tore his ACL during Monday’s practice, and safety Tarvarius Moore, who tore his Achilles during the same practice.
San Francisco signed safety Tony Jefferson Monday, but that was before Moore went down, and we had talked about Jefferson before the NFL Draft. I imagine he was in the team’s plans before Moore’s injury.
