Last year, the Seattle Seahawks celebrated their Thanksgiving win by eating turkey on the San Francisco 49ers logo and Seahawks DE Michael Bennett spoke about that today, saying, “I hope they got mad that we ate the turkey.”
Bennett was then asked by Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area on why he didn’t partake in the feast at midfield and Bennett replied, “I don’t like turkey because I don’t like what happened to the Indians.”
Well there you have it. With the 49ers prepared to face their most hated rival in the Seattle Seahawks, it will be interesting to see how the game plays out, as these two teams go head to head for the first time under the Jim Tomsula era.
