Sometimes an NFL reception is so impressive that it warrants its own article, even if it didn't result in a touchdown or game-winning drive. Such is the case with a one-handed grab made by San Francisco 49ers tight end Jordan Reed.
Reed, the 30-year-old veteran who was signed in the offseason, is back in action after missing a chunk of games with a knee injury. He struggled last Thursday against the Green Bay Packers and recorded just one catch for three yards, but in his defense, the entire San Francisco team was out of sorts.
