For the most part, the No. 1 name on the San Francisco 49ers‘ NFL free agency wish list this 2019 offseason is Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas.
It makes perfect sense, right? Thomas would be the perfect scheme fit for the Niners and an upgrade over what head coach Kyle Shanahan has there, currently. And Thomas, according to 49ers veteran cornerback Richard Sherman, is strongly considering San Francisco if the money is right.
There are other big names out there, too. And with just under $70 million in projected cap space, according to Over the Cap, general manager John Lynch shouldn’t have too much trouble outbidding other teams for the services of top targets.
