Two weeks’ time of preparation meant almost nothing for the San Francisco 49ers as they dropped their Week 9 matchup 41-23 to the visiting New Orleans Saints.
As has been the case for a number of the Niners’ seven losses on the season, San Francisco was still in contention for the first two-plus quarters.
And yet the 49ers completely fell apart in the second half.
Most of the stories we’ve discussed here on Niner Noise seem to be the same because, well, the Niners continue to make the same mistakes on a week-to-week basis. The defense is outschemed and undertalented.
