I’ll be honest, the latest rumors involving Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals would seem to push this thing over the top, but also seem a little too good to be true. NFL Draft analyst Tony Pauline reported on Sunday that over the weekend, Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury was telling people at the NFL Combine that, “it’s a ‘done deal’ the Cardinals will select the Oklahoma Sooners quarterback with the first pick of the draft.”
Cardinals general manager Steve Keim has the final say on personnel, so Kingsbury could say all he wants and it might mean nothing.
