Report: 49ers' Reuben Foster foils robbery attempt in San Francisco | The Sacramento Bee

Linebackers Reuben Foster and Ray-Ray Armstrong bolted from would-be robbers, one of whom was carrying an assault weapon, in the early-morning hours after their recent loss to Washington, according to a story on MissionLocal.org.

Citing a San Francisco Police Department report, the story says that the two were at a downtown club at 2 a.m. on Monday when Foster, the 49ers' first-round draft pick, noticed a car casing the establishment.

Thinking a crime was afoot, the two players and another man got a security guard to walk them to their car. According to the story, that's when the car pulled up and two armed men jumped out.
