The San Francisco 49ers have struggled with the injury bug, and they were hit again in the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. Rookie cornerback Rashard Robinson suffered an ankle injury when Doug Baldwin came down on his leg at the end of a play. He was helped off the field by two trainers, and then took a cart to the locker room.
The team announced that he is questionable to return. Given that he was carted back, I’m guessing he won’t return. He will likely get x-rays to determine the extent of the injury. At that point the team will likely downgrade him to out.
