SANTA CLARA — The 49ers did not add players via the waiver wire Sunday but were able to place running back Jeff Wilson Jr. and safety SS Marcell Harris, among others, on their practice squad.
Other players added to the 49ers practice squad were receiver Malik Henry, defensive linemen Jeremiah Valoaga and Kevin Givens, tight end Daniel Helm, linebackers Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and Elijah Lee and guard Ross Reynolds.
Wilson, who played six games for the 49ers last season, led the team with 178 yards rushing on 41 carries in three preseason games. Harris saw action in eight games last season with San Francisco and had a hand in 34 tackles.
