Person charged with impersonating former 49ers cornerback Mike Rumph

Former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Mike Rumph is back in the news....sort of. Someone decided to impersonate him to rent a home.

This is probably the most random story we will discuss this week. And maybe even this offseason! A Baldwin, New York man named Michael P. Rumph has been arrested and charged with impersonating former San Francisco 49ers first round draft pick Mike Rumph.

The arrested Rumph impersonated the 49ers Rumph in order to rent a home. Arrested Rumph had two forged pay stubs in 49ers Rumph's name from the Florida high school where the latter is currently head coach of the football team.
