Purdy proved his coach right during a season opening win which saw the quarterback reach several firsts. On Sunday, Purdy became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw multiple touchdowns in each of his first six regular season starts. Purdy posted a passer rating of 111.3, making him the first quarterback in NFL history to post a passer rating of 95.
