The most anticipated arrival at Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII between the 49ers and Chiefs wasn’t a player or coach, but rather international pop star Taylor Swift.
But in a break from the protocol for just about every other arrival on Sunday, reporters in the tunnel were told by security to put away their phones as Swift arrived at the game.
Everyone, that is, expect the NFL itself and its broadcast partner for Sunday’s game, CBS.
Several reporters made note of the strict order from security guards in the tunnel, forced to only tweet out words about Swift’s arrival alongside fellow celebrities Blake Lively and Ice Spice.
