This August, however, the team and its fans will get to go behind enemy lines like never before. The NFL announced on Wednesday that the Los Angeles Rams will be the subject of the 11th season of HBO’s acclaimed documentary series, “Hard Knocks.”
The show follows one NFL club each year, providing an up-close and personal view of the inner workings of training camp. The Rams are first NFC West team to be chosen. The first episode will air on Aug. 9.
The 49ers would’ve been eligible to appear on the series if they didn’t hire a new coach.
