If you’re not familiar with Marquise Goodwin’s background, him saying he wants to win a gold medal in the Olympics sounds ludicrous. It’s not. Like, at all. Goodwin finished seventh in the long jump during the Olympic Trials back in 2016. Goodwin actually won the trials back in 2012, where he finished 10th in the long jump during the London Olympics.
Monday morning Goodwin tweeted that he wants another shot in 2020. “I’m going to win the 2020 Olympics in Long jump!” Goodwin wrote. “idk how, but I am.
