Coming into the 2016 NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers are in a need of an edge-rusher who can hurry the quarterback and provide pressure from the outside.

Until last month, they thought outside linebacker Aaron Lynch was that man. Unfortunately he violated the substance abuse policy and won’t be available to play until Week 5.
Even then he may need a couple of weeks to shake the rust off. The 49ers are in need of someone who can fill that role until he is NFL ready and can provide quality depth once Lynch is in mid-season form.
